The Awards for Composites Excellence (ACE) program is organized under three main categories to reflect the activity and direction of the composites industry. All categories are open to manufacturers, while academia, equipment suppliers, software developers and end-users can enter specific categories.

This award is presented to the product that best exemplifies innovation that minimizes the environmental footprint of the product.

This award is presented to the product that demonstrates the use of composites materials to make a product that is imaginative, innovative and artistic.
Manufacturing Category: Equipment Innovation Award
This award is presented to the equipment, tooling, or software that is designed to improve the manufacturing production, environmental sustainability, or product quality and performance in composites manufacturing.
Manufacturing Category: Process Innovation Award
This award is presented to the product that best exemplifies efficient manufacturing that contributes to overall product sustainability.
Market Growth Category: Composites Sustainability Award
This award is presented to the product that demonstrates an improvement in the environmental impact of a product in an application that supports the attributes of sustainability as defined by the products use phase in sustainable development.
Market Growth Category: Infinite Possibility for Market Growth Award
This award is presented to the product that demonstrates the potential to significantly increase the use of composites in existing markets or generate the greatest impact to open new and emerging markets for composites.
