Technical Papers & Education Sessions

The Call for Presentations for COMPOSITES 2011 is now closed. ACMA encourages you to consider presenting at our 2012 show to be held at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Presenting at COMPOSITES is a unique opportunity to be recognized as an important member of the composites community.  For more information about presenting at COMPOSITES 2012, please contact us at events@acmanet.org. Plan ahead to avoid missing this great opportunity to share your experience and expertise with other composites industry professionals!

Educate your peers, share ideas, and help shape the future of the industry as composites manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and academia find solutions to problems, exchange ideas and explore innovative ways to use composites.  There are two types of education provided at COMPOSITES:

Technical Papers:

Education Sessions:

  • Present research on materials and products, cutting-edge applications, design protocol, code development, case histories, and statistical analysis
  • Are peer-reviewed for the highest honors, the ACMA Technical Paper Awards
  • Are Microsoft Word documents that will be published as PDFs on the Proceedings CD and in the online technical papers archive
  • Are presented by authors in 25-minute scheduled sessions at the show using PowerPoint Presentations to further explain the published papers

  • Offer how-tos, trouble-shooting, best practices, case studies, and process assistance
  • Address issues such as composites tooling, processing fundamentals, facility design, business management, market trends, regulatory concerns, waste reduction, human resources, industry challenges, growing markets, end use of composites, and more
  • Are PowerPoint Presentations that will be presented in 45-minute scheduled sessions at the show and published on the Proceedings CD

 All Technical Papers must be submitted during the Call for Presentations in order to be considered for presentation.

All Education Session ideas must be submitted during the Call for Presentations in order to be considered for presentation.

All submissions are reviewed by a committee of experts.
